Things are happening on the old quarry site at Marble Bay, Texada Island, BC

TEXADA ISLAND BOAT YARD IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

When Texada Island businessman, Alan Davis (Davis Ventures Ltd) purchased the property in 2016, he visualized a new boat haul out service and boat storage site. The purchase included a boat dock providing private moorage and an existing barge landing site.

Dormant for several decades from quarry-type work, the property has also been used to mill lumber, store logging equipment, warehouse fertilizer, and in general to accumulate an assortment of junk.

The concrete boat ramp and concrete boat wash pad have been completed. Clean up continues and work is progressing on the office/marine chandlery building and boat storage areas.
